LINK Real estate firm SRK Group aims to invest Rs 5000 crore in developing various properties across the country over the next five years with plans to expand to new cities.State-run aerospace major Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) announced Monday that it will set up a strategic electronics manufacturing factory in Kerala at an investment of Rs 2 bn (.6 mn).The factory would come up on 200 acres at the Kinfra Industrial Park in Kasargod district, said a statement issued by the state-owned Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corp (Kinfra).The foundation stone of the plant would be laid Aug 23 by Defence Minister AK Antony at the Kinfra Industrial Park, said the release.The new factory is being planned as an extension of the Hyderabad avionics division of HAL.It is also likely to launch 3-4 residential projects in the state within the next six months.
